การใช้ If (4 แบบ)
แต่ละตำราก็จะเรียกไม่ค่อยเหมือนกัน เอาง่ายๆ ละกันว่ามี 4 แบบ ไปจำว่า First condition,
 Second condition หรือ Third condition ก็ไม่ได้ช่วยให้เราเรียนรู้อะไร
แบบที่ 1 If + Present Simple, Present Simple
วิธีใช้ ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่เป็นความจริง

เช่น
• If you heat water, it boils.
 (ถ้าคุณต้มน้ำ น้ำก็เดือด)
• If you get here before seven, we can catch the early train.
(ถ้าคุณมาถึงที่นี่ก่อน 7 โมง เราก็สามารถขึ้นรถไฟไปได้เร็ว)
• I can’t drink alcohol if I have to drive.
(ฉันไม่สามารถดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ถ้าฉันต้องขับรถ)

แบบที่ 2 If + Present Simple, Will + V1
วิธีใช้ ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่เป็นเหตุเป็นผลซึ่งกันและกัน

เช่น
• If I have enough money, I will go to Japan.
(ถ้าฉันมีเงิน ฉันจะไปญี่ปุ่น)
• If he is late, we will have to the meeting without him.
(ถ้าเขามาสาย เราจะต้องเริ่มการประชุมโดยไม่มีเขา)
• I won’t go outside if the weather is cold.
 (ฉันจะไม่ออกไปข้างนอกถ้าอากาศมันเย็น)
• If I have time, I will help you.
(ถ้าฉันมีเวลา ฉันจะช่วยคุณ)

• She would be safer if she had a car.
